Tennessee Alliance for Progress
seeks to:
- build strong and effective relationships and collaboration
between diverse groups;
- integrate a broad array of issues into a common progressive
agenda;
- develop the collective power of constituents to implement this
common agenda;
- increase the capacity of under-represented constituencies to
have a greater impact on public policy and governance at the state
level;
- enhance the capacity of grassroots organizations to mobilize
their members; and
- develop new public leaders representing and accountable to
disadvantaged constituencies.
These goals were voted on and approved
by the Tennessee Alliance Board of Directors on July 13, 2003.
